GDSC FEST 24 Rules and Regulations

Participation

• Tech Visa: A valid Tech Visa is mandatory for participation.
• Eligibility: The event is open to students of all disciplines and universities.
• Team Formation: Team formation for events will be allowed as per the specific event guidelines.
• Fair Play: All participants must uphold the spirit of sportsmanship and fair play throughout the event. Any cheating or unethical behavior will result in disqualification.
• Respect: Participants must treat everyone with respect and courtesy, including organizers, judges, volunteers, and fellow participants. Harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior will not be tolerated.
• Intellectual Property: All ideas, creations, and innovations developed during the event belong to the respective teams/individuals. However, participation grants GDSC FEST 24 non-exclusive rights to showcase and promote these works for educational and promotional purposes.

Event Specifics

• Attendance: Participants are responsible for attending all registered events on time. Repeated unexcused absences may lead to disqualification.
• Materials: Participants are responsible for bringing their own laptops, chargers, and any other necessary materials for the events they are participating in.
• Submission Deadlines: All submissions for workshops, competitions, and other events must be submitted before the respective deadlines. Late submissions will not be considered.
• Judging Criteria: Each event will have its own judging criteria, which will be communicated to participants beforehand.
• Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each event as per the announced prize structure. Participants are responsible for following any tax regulations associated with prize winnings.
• Disputes: Any disputes regarding the event will be handled by the GDSC FEST 24 organizers. Their decision will be final.

Safety and Security

• Personal Belongings: Participants are responsible for the safety and security of their personal belongings. The organizers will not be responsible for any loss or damage.
• Medical emergencies: In case of any medical emergency, participants should immediately inform the nearest organizer or volunteer.
• Venue Rules: Participants must comply with all rules and regulations of the venue.
